Vladimir
Tsesler was born in Slutsk (Belarus, Minsk region) in 1951.
1980 –
graduated from Belarusian Institute of Art and Theatre (now - Belarusian State
Academy of Arts), Department of design.
Since the
late 70's he worked with the Sergey Voichenko (1955-2004).
Member of
Belarusian Unions of artists and designers.
He won
international renown with as poster artist.
Works in
various styles: poster, art object, painting, sculpture, graphic, advertising,
industrial design, etc.
Poster
"Woodstock 30 years" is at the Museum of Advertising (at Louvre).
"Project
of the Century. 12 of XX" became widely known. In this project Vladimir
Tsesler and Sergey Voichenko presented twelve well-known artists of the XX
century as eggs. The project was shown at Pushkin Museum. (Moscow, 1999-2000),
Ludwig Museum (part of Russian Museum) (St. Petersburg, 2000), the Venice
Biennale (2005).
Vladimir
Tsesler won a lot of various international competitions, biennials and festivals.
