Willi
Georg, a German army corporal and photographer, entered the Warsaw ghetto on
June 26, 1941 and took four rolls of photographs on a number of main streets. A
fifth roll was confiscated along with his camera, but the previous four
remained undetected. He sent them to his mother in Muenster, Germany
