Fine-art, landscape and travel photographer Katina Houvouras currently
resides and works in the New York area.
Her photography has been inspired by studying with and
assisting many fine art and editorial photographers including Mary Ellen Mark,
Roy Zipstein, Simon Watson and William Abranowicz. She travels extensively and
is currently working on a long-term project photographing our National Parks.
She received a B.A. in Studio Art from Middlebury College, completed an Academy Program in Photography at The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic, and has been a photography mentor at the Kimball Art Center in Park City, Utah and an artist-in-residence in Basilicata, Italy.

She has shown her photography in solo and group
exhibits in the US and abroad and her work is held in numerous domestic and
international private collections. Clients include AFAR, Workman
