BENOIT PAILLÉ

I’m always glad to feature an artist from Montreal, it’s a nice coincidence. In this particular case, I find the work Benoit does to be absolutely fantastic; this series of portraits is especially powerful. To give a bit of context, Benoit shot these pictures during a Rainbow Gathering in Quebec, these gatherings promote great values such as peace, respect for others, volunteerism and environmentalism. People who attend these events are all part of the “Rainbow Family” hence the title Benoit gives to each portrait being “Rainbow Family Member”.
