"Blessed will be the country which doesn't need heroes" _ this is the rough translation of one of the many murales covering the walls of Orgosolo, a secluded town in a rugged mountain district of Sardinia. The frescoes have been painted since the early 70's as a form of protest against Italian government policy towards Sardinian people, later the themes shifted to deal with many kinds of oppression and inequalities from all around the world.
