STREETS OF MILAN

Photography by Fabio Giannelli

This represents a small selection of my Street Photography work in a period of 4 months (Feb-May 2010, in which I discovered analog photography), on the city where I presently live, Milan.
All the images are candid moments, which means they are unstaged. This is important to know as it is part of the game, with his pros and cons. I believe that spontaneous reality framed by an eye and a camera can be a powerful tool of expressiveness, which sometimes can trigger into the observer something untold or overseen about the human nature and the everyday world we live in, that no other school addresses better than Street Photography.
PS. All the pictures are scanned black&white film negatives, left uncropped, taken with a Leica M2 rangefinder camera and a CV 35/2.5 lens.
